Box)是一個以
Philips
TriMedia為基礎的參考設計平台，其核心是採用pnx0190e
的數位多媒體處理核心。主要針對以OEMs/ODMs為主的開發用戶。

這是個低功率的pnx1500
series TriMedia/Nexperia 處理器，
它的特色在於較小的體積容量 ( 100mm x 150mm x 30 mm)，並且能夠使用一個電池提供超過
3 小時多媒體播放。

至於解析度上，不像現今的
CIF(320X240) 解析度，Philips
PMP 參考設計平台提供標準定義解析度(SD,720x480)每秒30張的執行速度。
此外也能夠提供高品質輸出(HD)，在所有標準的
ATSC 解析度包括 720p
和 1080i 。

此平台使用Ant Limited's Pure Play多媒體瀏覽器為主要介面，並整合MP3, MPEG1/2, MPEG4,
DivX,和 H.264等多種視訊演算法，並可利用USB連接介面將播放檔案載入到硬碟，或經由網路TCP/IP 802.11g直接瀏覽多媒體伺服器 。
