SPECIFICATIONS
TI's code-generation tools provide a suite of compilers and assemblers, as well as a register allocator and code compactor to simplify application development. Full-featured optimizing C compilers translate ANSI C into compact assembly language for the RISC processor and the DSPs, and algebraic assemblers (master processor and DSPs) work with a single linker to generate 'C8x code. The multitasking executive simplifies the synchronization and execution of multiple DSP tasks, and supports the 'C8x-to-host processor communications.

TI's 'C8x debugger provides a windowed, mouse-driven and menu-oriented interface to the scan-based emulation technology on the XDS510. This reduces learning time and eliminates the need to memorize complex commands. The XDS510 emulator supports full-speed emulation and monitoring of your target system.
